Viva Cancun

Life happens so fast, I barely have time to react must less reflect. From John's parents visiting to Bike to Work Week, to my parents and sisters visiting from WA, FL, and CA, and the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey Relay Run i just finished this Friday and Sunday (I promise I will have to catch up). Now we are in Cancun to celebrate John's big 4-0. And yes, that was last minute too. But if we wait until the right time or the perfect time to do anything we would never catch up with life to hitch a ride. So here we are! It is 78 degrees.

OK, if you're on the beach we expect some more bikini shots. Reno has been too cold.
Did you run all the way from Reno to Tahoe? (OK, I know the relay part means you just did a mile or so, but at least it's some activity). And bike to work - did you?
Starting to get hot here - 106 yesterday, but our pool water is up to 90 and it was marvelous.

Joe, yesterday it poured and hail came down in Reno the size of dimes (video on YouTube).

In the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey Relay Run, our team ran from Reno westward to Truckee, CA around Lake Tahoe and eastward to Carson City and Virginia City and then north back to Reno. Check out the map).

Bike to Work week was fun. I will have to ride on a regular basis. Haven't found a safe route on my scooter but there's a bike/pedestrian path I can take.

Oh I wish I was in the dry heat of Vegas. I must be acclimated to Reno because the sun burned me while in Cancun and I many of the times I was under the shade of the umbrella because I couldn't take the heat and high humidity.
