Viet Pho

The day after Thanksgiving, we did some light shopping and ate lunch at Viet Pho on Plumb Lane near Virginia Street. I had a small bowl of the Special Vietnamese Noodle Soup for $7.25 and John ordered the 12" BBQ pork Vietnamese Sandwich which was $8.25 and included a can of soda.
The pho was good but a little overpriced for casual dining in an area shared with Port of Subs inside a strip mall. A large bowl of the same soup is $9.25 and perhaps that's why a group of people walked out after seeing the menu). The sandwich was one of the best Vietnamese sandwiches we've tried (it had plenty of BBQ pork and fixings unlike many others we've tasted that were on the skimpy side) and the bread was toasted which made it taste even better. We'll go back for the sandwich but I'm not convinced it's Reno's best pho for the price.

Glad you are finding your way around town. Eventually you will find places that you like and turn them into regular haunts.
