Something New for Everyone

Variety and new experiences can keep you young I've heard.  I suppose you can apply that to anything--whatever that means for you.  This past Saturday meant riding new paths, exploring new neighborhoods, and reaching a new milestone of over 70 miles (the longest ride for me).

Our day started with a fun stroll through the Henderson neighborhoods, past golf courses, and down a different multiple-use-path following John and Rafe.  The three of us were like kids on our bikes and we all agree that's one of the reasons we love to ride.

Our adventure continued all the way to Boulder City where we stopped for lunch at a place recommended to us.  Hopefully it will become a regular stop during the next group rides.

Saturday was not only full of exciting and new experiences for us, we also introduced our friend to something he has never tried--Pho.

We took many photos during our bike ride to Boulder City for lunch and back. This ride was an absolute ball!!

Wow, you must have some calf muscles for rides that long (with those hills)

@Joe: it's funny you say that because my legs have no shape and I've had the hardest time trying to develop calf muscles until now, LOL. Shedding 9 to 10 more pounds will definitely help me get up those hills faster!
