Surprise of Flowers

Besides being my mom's birthday, today is Groundhog Day. So I heard that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter. Of course there will be six more weeks of winter, at least. Spring doesn't start until the 21st of March. I don't need a land beaver to tell me what I don't want to hear--I don't care how cute he is!

Winter has to be the worst season of the year...that's why they have to throw Christmas in there. It's cold, the sun usually hides (luckily it has been sunny in Vegas) and everything is dead. Do I sound like I am fun to be around during winter or what?

John must have known I was down from winter. He surprised me at work with the cutest flower arrangement of daffodils.

These yellow buttercups always remind me of spring and Easter. My sweetie sure knows how to brighten my day by bringing me a little slice of spring!
