Great Basin National Park Camping Trip - Day 3

Needless to say we slept in a little bit after the previous day's hike up to Johnson Lake. Still we rose before 7 a.m.(it's hard to sleep when the birds start chirping and the sun shines on our tent; I feel like I might miss out on something).

We had coffee and breakfast before breaking down our camp. Hot coffee tastes so good on a brisk, sunny morning.

I took a video of our campsite as we packed.

As we drove off camp, we spotted a doe who appeared to strut and model for our cameras.

We also spotted antelopes.

We drove through Utah and some neat little towns before stopping in Cedar Creek Restaurant in Cedar City for lunch. The food was great but nothing like we've had camping.

Our camping trip to the Great Basin National Park with John and Maggie was like chartering tour guides, a five-star chef, historian and walking encyclopedia (I'm always learning something new from them) complete with food and all the drinks we wanted. All we had to do was pick them up from their house. Their only charge is...for us to have fun and, boy, did we do just that!
