Daylight Saving Time Means More

Daylight Saving Time starts at 2 a.m. and we will turn our clocks forward tonight by one hour. I am thinking that around this time tomorrow evening, it will be as light outside as it is this very moment. Which means I will have more daylight to take care my errands after work and it won't feel like the evening is already over with by the time I get home.

Since Daylight Saving Time ended last year on November 4th, there was one clock where the time was not changed (back by one hour) and that was the one at my bedside. I insisted that my clock was set at that "fall back" time so I would be an hour early and not get use to falling back. Boy, I think that worked really well (hee, hee).

Now that we are springing forward, the time on my clock will be in sync again!

In general, I struggle. I'm scatterbrained and I tend to over extend myself. I'm busy to the point of forgetting how to spell my own name.

This morning I woke up and the clock said it was just after 9. I thought, "HOT DAMN! I got to sleep in!"

But no, apparently it was daylight savings time.

Thank you for enlightening me!

MomBeans, we have a cat that apparently knows how to read the clock. Before the time change, she would rustle with the blinds at 5 a.m. every morning in an attempt to wake up my husband. This morning, she was cooing and making noise again! We looked at the clock...and it was 5 a.m. This cat definitely knows about Daylight Savings Time. I'm like, WTH?! LOL!!

Time changes do not usually affect me until the work day after then my brain will always... its an hour earlier, its an hour earlier.... I feel wipe for the first week! I think you can tell I am not a fan of this! But on other the hand in the fall, I do relish that extra hour. Go figure!

Yeah...losing that extra hour can suck but I LOVE it when I get off work and it is still light outside!

Monday is over, yay!!
