Romantic Vacation Ideas

Valentine's Day is tomorrow and I can feel the romance in the air. Speaking of romance, the last time my husband took a romantic vacation together, we went to Cabo San Lucas. Eight days of the sun, beach, activities, good food, and great company (we vacationed with another couple who are our friends). By the time we came back from Mexico, we were speaking Spanish for quite some time! (Well, basically hola amigos/amigas, por favor, and gracias señor/señorita ... LOL).

I have to say that one of the most romantic vacations my husband and I took was right here in good 'ol Las Vegas, after our wedding, for the main reason that there are many things to do in Las Vegas whether you are visiting or live here. We got married within two weeks of finals week for my classes and I had already taken time off of work and school for our wedding so I couldn't afford the additional time to leave town for our honeymoon. With the time that we saved from not waiting at the airports and traveling to/from Las Vegas, we were able to spend more quality time together by the hotel pool, dining, sightseeing, soaking in the sights and sounds of Las Vegas, and enjoying each other and our time together as a married couple.

I think it's time for us to take another vacation. I've been browsing the website of Trusted Tours & Attractions for family vacation ideas and I was thinking maybe we can go to New York for our next vacation. I have been a couple of times but my husband has never visited the Big Apple. I would like to try one of those New York city tours this time.
