Workout Progress

I've been really good about getting physical activity at least 3 to 5 days a week. Friday after work, I did the P90X Ab Ribber X video. It's 15 minutes but it gets me sweating because it's not just sheer situps but plyometrics. I presently struggle with the v-up move and the mason twist at the end.

Saturday, I usually spend all day cleaning the house and running errands so that is usually my physical activity but I decided to work out to the P90X Plyometrics video. I think I have it 60% effort but stuck with the whole hour (including 10 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down). My poor body ... my hips, thighs, quads, hamstrings, and buttocks were sore for two full days. I am still sore in the hamstrings today...LOL.
Daly at Valley of Fir
My husband and I went to the Valley of Fire yesterday. We hiked around the Sand Dunes nearby and explored the different rock formations in the state park. That was a lot of fun! It was nice to get out, see nature, get some fresh air, and all the while get in some light physical activity.

It's another week and I am looking forward to updating my Fitness Calendar. I enjoy logging my activities and looking back through the days to see what I've accomplished up until now.

The scale hasn't budged. Some days the numbers are higher but I KNOW I am making progress. Any activity is better than what I have been doing the past several months (and that was nothing but sit on my butt at my desk all day). Eventually something has to give and my body has to release the grease. I already feel stronger and better about myself and that is a good start!
