What's That Smell?

I love summer; it is definitely one of my favorite seasons. The one downside of this time of year is having to keep the windows and doors closed at all-times because the temperature outside is always hotter than inside. The air inside tends to get stale so I like to open up the doors and windows during the cooler seasons to let fresh air in and aerate the rooms in our house. The girls love it because they get to hear the birds and local traffic passing by.

Midway through dinner last night, my husband points out that he can smell something like burning plastic and it turns out I had inadvertantly left the George Foreman grill on after taking the steaks off. [Tangent: I don't know how I make it through life without my husband's keen sense of hearing and smell]. Anyway, smell stuck on grease tends to linger around ... even until the next morning.

I tell ya ... I think I need to get me one of these.
