Posting to End Alzheimer's

While I was surfing the Internet one day, I stumbled upon this website called PayPerPost.com. As the name infers, they offer the opportunity for bloggers like me to get paid for posts that I make on my website (usually to spread the word for advertisers about their products or services and then after the blog reviews and approval, they pay per post!).

So far I haven’t made a penny but what will I do with the money I earn? I browsed through the community forum and found that some Posties opted to have their funds donated to a cause such as American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and Alzheimer’s Association.

That idea motivated me -- it is the perfect opportunity for me to turn what I already love to do and turn my posts into donations for the Memory Walk my husband and I are participating in this October 20th in Las Vegas.

So far, we have raised a total of $1,055 through the generous donors from FocalJet, HotBoat, friends, and family but we have stalled in our progress in reaching our ultimate goal of $2,000 by the day of the event.

There are still many untapped funding resources that I haven’t pursued (we have been busy with life since launching our fundraising campaign) but I think PayPerPost might be one of the ways in which the advertisers on their website can help us in our cause.

With that said, thank you PayPerPost for your generous donation to our Memory Walk!
